Ta’sia is an up and coming female producer and musician. Her background in music began with funk and soul saxophone in her hometown of Wagga Wagga , leading to her playing with bands across Australia such as ripple effect band, Afro Moses, World Mix Band, Issa Mané and the cinco royal all stars and the Hamilton Alpine Club. Ta’sia released her debut album ‘Maire’ in 2020 showcasing her solo production and beat making with strong following releases ‘Snake ft. Koscheke’ (2020) ,’The Fox ft. JANIE’ ( 2021) and collaboration album ‘Beluga‘ with Clarence Kingston in June (2021). Her Music has been played nationally and internationally on RRR, PBS, Worldwide FM, SBS CHILL, Eastside 89.7 FM, Spotify playlists and the Caribbean Broadcast Network.
Ta’sia Live set combines Vinyl SP404 and MPC beats with live brass ft. strong Female artists on vocals/keys/brass. This mix of sounds and textures reflects musical influences such as ‘Nightmares on Wax’ and ’TM Juke’. Ta’sia has performed at Barunga Festival NT, Birdies Gallery, Seabreeze Festival, Lucky Bat and warehouse parties in Newcastle and Darwin.
